The daily COVID-19 report from the Saskatchewan government on Tuesday shows 85 new infections across the province with one more death. That death brings the provincial total to 897.
The 85 new cases are located in the Far North West (7), Far North East (1), North West (7), North Central (3), North East (3), Saskatoon (14), Central West (2), Central East (16), Regina (20), South Central (2) and South East (1) zones and nine (9) new cases have pending residence information. The active case count continues to fall as it now sits at 1,112. At this time a month ago, the active case count was at 4,297.

The number of those in hospital being treated for the virus sits at 171 with 111 of them not fully vaccinated. 42 of those 171 are in the ICU. Another 11 are being cared for out of province,
Only 589 vaccines were delivered Monday with 216 of them being first doses.
