Regina Police charge 15-year-old boy with second degree murder in relation to 16-year-old girl’s death

Regina Police say a 15-year-old boy has been charged with second degree murder in relation to the death of 16-year-old girl.

On November 1, officers were sent to a residence on the 1200 block of Rae Street for the report of a weapons offence.

When police arrived they found the 16-year-old girl outside the residence, EMS confirmed her deceased at the scene.

Police say the boy was arrested on Friday.

The accused, who can’t be named because of his age made his first court appearance Monday morning.
