Regina Police arrest four underage boys after recent string of robberies

Regina Police say four underage boys are facing a total of 24 charges for a string of recent robberies in the Queen City.

The opportunity for each of these robberies came out of communication through online marketplace platforms.

It’s alleged the suspects would arrange to buy items offered for sale online, and would set up a meeting, but would then rob the sellers using weapons.

Four robberies took place between October 24 and November 2.

On Wednesday, Police conducted a traffic stop on College Avenue at Toronto Street where three of the boys were arrested, that stop led to the fourth suspects’ arrest as well.

The youth who cannot be named due to their age, are facing charges that include robbery, assault with a weapon and wearing a disguise with intent.

All four boys made their first court appearances on Thursday.
