Space for exhibitors at Canada’s Farm Show is filling fast

Roughly 75 percent of the space for exhibits have already been filled for Canada’s Farm Show coming up in Regina in June of next year.

Regina Exhibition Association Limited says that’s because many exhibitors renewed their space from previous years.

President and CEO Tim Reid says they’re looking forward to having a normal show.

“For 44 years, we’ve delivered this show in-person, and in 2022, it’s great to be getting back to it,” Reid said. “It’s a critical piece of our economy, it’s a critical piece of doing business in southern Saskatchewan. We’re excited that between June 21-23 of next year, we’ll be back to Canada’s Farm Show.”

Reid says the show will mostly be indoors. Last year’s event was fully virtual, and some aspects will be brought in for this in-person event.

“Our Launch Pad stage — where our most innovative agriculture advancement and announcements will be happening — will still have a component where we broadcast it virtually,” Reid said. “We were able to engage with hundreds of thousands of people because of our virtual component versus 35,00 in-person.”
