Regina-based Brandt Group has completed a $302-million purchase of Cervus Equipment.

The Owner and CEO of Brandt, Shaun Semple, says the transaction doubles the number of Brandt equipment dealerships to 120 across Canada.

Brandt is the largest John Deere dealership in the world.

Semple says a ten day strike at John Deere in the U.S. is being monitored but so far has had no impact.

Semple says the Cervus purchase will also provide about 20 percent of the dealership market in Australia and New Zealand.
