The Tap Brewhouse will be hosting a Halloween party and fundraiser at the Turvey Centre in Regina Saturday night, for the Moosehead Inn that was in Kenosee.
The famous restaurant and nightclub burned down in September.
General Manager for The Tap Jeff Stephen, said he had a personal connection to the Moosehead that goes back many years.
“My aunt was involved back in the day and was one of the original founders and owners, who helped make the Moosehead Inn to what is was” he said. “I also happened to meet owner Dale Orsted who is now my best friend in the world, in fact I managed the place for him for many years at one point, we never lost touch,” Stephen said.
Tickets for the event are available now and can be bought at the Tap Liquor Store or the Turvey Ticket Website.
General Admission is $30.00, VIP tickets are $50.00.
There will also be raffles, a 50/50 draw and a donation box.
“The Moosehead meant a lot to many people, it was such an iconic tourist spot, it will be missed by so many in Kenosee and the surrounding area especially,” Stephen said.
The Moosehead Inn had been in Kenosee for about 60 years.
