Regina Police make arrest in connection to hit and run involving minivan and cyclist

A 17-year-old teen boy has been arrested and charged in connection to a hit and run incident that took place Tuesday morning.

Just before 6:30 AM, a cyclist was struck by a red Dodge Caravan at the corner of Dewdney Avenue East and Fleury Street. The driver fled the scene.

The 35-year-old man who was struck remains in hospital with serious injuries.

Police located the suspect on Wednesday and charged him with failure to remain at the scene of a collision causing bodily harm. The youth will appear in court in December.
