Regina Police are looking for a man who unsuccessfully tried to rob a business Saturday night after he got into a fight with the store employee.

Police say a man, described as 6 feet tall with shaved black hair who was wearing jeans and a dark coloured jacket with a red sweater underneath, walked into the business on the 4100 block of 5th Avenue in north Central around 10 last night. He produced a weapon and demanded money,

The store’s employee engaged the suspect resulting in a struggle with the employee being struck by the weapon. The suspect exited the store. The employee was sent to hospital with minor injuries.
