Rowan’s Ravine Provincial Park sees road and highway upgrades during 2021 construction season

Rowan’s Ravine Provincial Park is now a safer destination to get to thanks to $10.7 million in new paving and road improvements.

Highways 322 and 220 received paving work towards the park during the 2021 construction season. Paving work was also completed in the Underwood campground loops, boat launch and day use parking lot.

“Highways 322 and 220 are essential gateways to those traveling to Rowan’s Ravine and the surrounding area,” Highways Minister Fred Bradshaw said in a news release. “These improvements keep our roads safe so that families and visitors can enjoy their time in our parks.”

In that same news release, Parks, Culture and Sport Minister Laura Ross said “This was an incredible season for Saskatchewan’s parks as families got out and rediscovered our province’s natural beauty. I am grateful to Minister Bradshaw and the Highways Ministry for including park improvements in their work this summer.”
