Regina Police are looking for a suspect after a man was shot Wednesday afternoon.
Officers were called to the 1100 block of Cameron Street around 5:45 p.m. but were unable to locate a suspect or a victim.
Shortly before midnight police were then sent to a residence on the 1100 block of Robinson Street, where they found a 19-year-old man with a gunshot wound, he was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Police determined that at approximately 5:40 p.m., the victim was walking in the east lane of the 1100 block of Robinson Street, when a male suspect approached him and pulled out a firearm while demanding money.
The suspect then shot the victim and fled the area.
The suspect was described as Indigenous, 5’10”, with tattoos under both eyes described as two letters under each eye, and wearing a purple Toronto Raptors hat.
