Human remains located in North Saskatchewan River

Prince Albert RCMP are investigating after human remains were located Wednesday night in the North Saskatchewan River near the Cecil Ferry east of Prince Albert.

The remains were located and removed from the river with the help of the Prince Albert Fire Department, and an autopsy is being completed at this time.

The identity of the person is not yet known.

RCMP and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service are continuing to investigate.
