For the fourth straight day and the fifth in the last six days, the Saskatchewan government is reporting 400+ new cases of COVID-19.
On Wednesday, the province told us there are 475 new cases of the virus and two new deaths. That means 629 people have died because of the virus. The active case count is now at 4,016.
The new cases are located in the Far North West (19), Far North Central (4), Far North East (47), North West (61), North Central (41), North East (23), Saskatoon (118), Central West (8), Central East (25), Regina (36), South West (17), South Central (10) and South East (25) zones and 41 new cases have pending residence information.

Of the 475 cases, 104 are in kids ages 0-11 who can not be vaccinated. 377 of the 475 cases are in people who are unvaccinated with 26 having had just one shot.
224 people are in hospital with 40 of those in the ICU.
There were 2,046 vaccines put into the arms of Saskatchewan people on Tuesday with 1,100 of those going to individuals now fully vaccinated.
