BASF offers support to rural community groups

BASF Canada is hosting its second annual community challenge.

The program will see 65 thousand dollars donated to community organizations, recognizing the critical role farming communities play in the lives of growers.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of InVigor hybrid canola, BASF has introduced a 25 thousand dollar grand prize to be donated to one deserving organization.

Today through October 15th, InVigor growers are encouraged to nominate an organization or initiative in their community for the chance to receive one of eight 5 thousand dollar donations.

For the 25 thousand dollar grand prize, Western Canadian growers and retail partners are invited to nominate a deserving local organization to win.

Last year, BASF donated 40 thousand dollars to community organizations across Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba.

The initiatives ranged from critical emergency services to recreational youth clubs.
