Province sees fifth straight day where new COVID-19 cases top 300 mark

The province is telling us of 305 new COVID-19 infections.  With 372 recoveries being reported, it brings the active case count down to 3,184.  One more person has died bringing the provincial total to 613.

The new cases are located in the Far North West (9), Far North Central (2), Far North East (37), North West (35), North Central (39), North East (18), Saskatoon (84), Central West (5), Central East (10), Regina (16), South West (5), South Central (3) and South East (9) zones and 33 new cases have pending residence information.

There are 154 individuals in hospital including 29 in the ICU. Of the 154 patients, 110 were not fully vaccinated.

The 7-day average of new COVID-19 case numbers was 350 (29.1 new cases per 100,000)

Only 294 vaccines were administered on Monday. Of those 294, which is the lowest total the province has seen, 133 were first doses.  The previous daily low was on August 24 when just 452 vaccines were delivered.
