418 new cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan; highest daily total since January 11th

418 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Saskatchewan Friday,  as well as 2 more deaths.

The new case count is the highest since January 11.

Saskatoon has 131 new cases, the North West has 50, the North Central has 47, and there are 23 new cases in Regina.

152 people have recovered from the virus, putting the active case at 2,755.

The seven day average of new cases sits at 302.

135 people are in the hospital with 23 in ICU.

1,174 first doses of the vaccine were issued Thursday, while 1,542 people received their second dose. Just under 700,000 people in Saskatchewan are fully vaccinated.
