Two individuals are dead and a third person is injured, after what RCMP are calling a serious incident at the Lions Park Campground in Meadow Lake.

Police say there is no risk to the public’s safety at this time, however people will notice an increased presence of officers on Tuesday.

No other information is available at this time, but police say more details will be released at some point this week.

Meadow Lake is about 160 kilometres north of the Battlefords.
