Regina man arrested after stealing car Saturday morning

On Saturday morning, around 10:00 am, Regina Police responded to a reported robbery on the 1500 block of McTavish Street.

The victim was in the driver’s seat of his parked vehicle when the suspect, a passenger in the back seat, climbed into the front and pushed the victim out of his vehicle and onto the street.

The suspect then drove off, leaving the victim behind. The victim suffered an injury that required him to be transported to hospital.

Police located the suspect a short time later on an unrelated call. He was arrested without incident. Police also located the victim’s vehicle.

44-year-old David Badger has been charged with robbery.

Badger will make his first court appearance on Monday.
