Regina fire crews were busy Friday night as they responded to two separate house fires.

The first fire was on the 1900 block of St. John Street, where the blaze was brought under control around 6:40 pm.

According to Regina Fire, five people were displaced by the fire.

Crews also battled a fire on the 1800 block of Winnipeg Street, where it was brought under control by 11:00 pm.

No injuries were reported.

Both fires are under investigation.
