New Moose Jaw mayor to be chosen in November

Moose Jaw will pick its new mayor on November 3.

The city needs a new leader after Fraser Tolmie stepped down earlier this month as he is seeking to become an MP for the Conservatives in the riding of Moose Jaw-Lumsden-Lake Centre.

Councillor Dawn Luhning (loon-ning) will serve as mayor until the byelection is held.

The city says the cost of the byelection is $60,000.
