Regina Police investigating pair of Sunday robberies

Regina Police are looking for a suspect after a business was robbed with a knife on the 200 block of Winnipeg Street North, Sunday morning.

Officers say around 8:00 a.m. a lone male suspect walked into the business with the knife and demanded money, he was given an undisclosed amount before fleeing the scene.

Police say the suspect was wearing a light grey hoodie, black gloves, black shoes,  and dark blue jeans, with a black surgical mask covering his face.

The weapon was described as a switchblade.

Police are also investigating a robbery that took place around 6:00 p.m. Sunday evening,  on the 200 block of Broadway Avenue East, in Regina’s Assiniboia East neighborhood.

Officers say a man entered a business with a knife and asked for cigarettes, when the store employee refused, he fled the scene.

Police say the suspect was wearing a neon safety vest, a black jacket with the hood pulled up, black pants, and a black face mask.
