Regina Police looking for suspect in downtown robbery

Regina Police are looking for a suspect involved in a robbery.

On Wednesday, a report was made to police about an attempted robbery that occurred just after noon on Tuesday.

A woman completed a sizeable cash withdrawal at a bank on the 1900 of Hamilton Street and exited. A man then shoved her and ran off with her bag containing the cash.

Another man ran after the suspect and successfully wrestled the bag away, returning it to the victim.

The suspect was last seen running northbound down the alley between Hamilton Street and Rose Street. The female sustained minor injuries during the incident.

The suspect is described as approximately between 5’9-5’10” tall, around 200 pounds, with short dark hair, and a round face.
