A truck ran into the side of a house Wednesday morning on the 1300 block of Latrace Road in Saskatoon.

The Saskatoon Fire Department got a call around 2:30 a.m..

The first crews on the scene determined there was no fire. There were no injuries to anyone on the scene.

Fire crews had to turn off the natural gas and electrical service to the house. The vehicle had damaged the staircase to the 2nd level. A ladder was set up to a window on the 2nd level and one occupant was helped from the house using the ladder.

Saskatoon Police say one man has been arrested. Police allege that the 25 year old, was impaired; he was arrested on scene and is facing two impaired driving related charges and one charge relating to dangerous driving.
