Regina Police are investigating after a suspect armed with an axe, was able to steal an undetermined amount of cash from a downtown business Tuesday afternoon.

Police were called to a store on the 1800 block of Broad Street around 3:00 p.m.

Investigation determined the suspect fled the scene on a bike north onto Broad Street, before heading west on 11th Avenue.

Initial reports describe the suspect as approximately 5’6″ – 5’10” tall, wearing black.
