131 new COVID-19 cases in Saskatchewan

The province is telling us about 131 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday with the active case count now sitting at 1,066

The new cases are located in the Far North West (3), Far North Central (5), Far North East (24), North West (9), North Central (17), North East (3), Saskatoon (29), Central East (3), Regina (13), South West (5), South Central (6), and South East (8) zones.  42 percent of the new cases are in people aged 20-39.

Of the 131 new COVID-19 cases today, 103 (78%) were unvaccinated, 10 (8%) were partially vaccinated and 18 (14%) were fully vaccinated.

There are 82 individuals hospitalized because of the virus, including 15 in the ICU. Of the 82 patients, 63 (77%) are not fully vaccinated.

1,990 vaccines were delivered with 683 of those getting their first vaccination.
