Moose Jaw man with attempted murder charge found with firearms and ammo during curfew check

A Moose Jaw man currently on court ordered conditions for attempted murder has been arrested, after six firearms and hundreds of rounds of ammunition were found at his residence.

Moose Jaw Police say they were conducting a curfew check on 35-year-old Brandon Gariepy around 1:00 a.m. Monday morning, when the weapons and ammo were discovered , along with other stolen property.

Gariepy was charged with numerous firearm related offences and stolen property offenses, and was remanded into custody until a court date.
