Regina Police looking for suspect in Friday robbery

On Friday afternoon, around 2:42 pm, Regina Police responded to a robbery on the 2100 block of 11th Avenue.

The female victim was walking when she was approached by a man on a bicycle who grabbed the victim’s phone out of her hands. When the victim tried to stop the suspect from getting away, he pulled out a knife and threatened her. He then fled the area.

The suspect was described as an Indigenous man in his late 20s with a thin build, wearing a dark grey hoodie, blue jeans, a black ball cap with a black bandanna over his face, riding a red bicycle.

The weapon was described as a Bowie knife with a red handle and a curved blade.

Police continue to investigate.
