An investigation is underway after a boy was found dead inside a vehicle at a business on the Cowessess First Nation.

RCMP say they were called to the First Nation late Saturday night where they found the boy who is under the age of 16.

It is thought the boy, whose name is not being released, was transported to the location where he was found.

RCMP add an investigation related to this incident is happening at a home southwest of Cowessess.
