Man facing charges in connection with explosive devices being found at Superstore released on conditions

The 23-year-old Regina man accused of planting explosive devices inside the East Regina Superstore and its parking lot is being released on conditions.

Kyle Poag, who was an employee at the time of the incident July 9, can not possess weapons, attend the store or contact any employees or refer to them on social media along with following the advice of both medical and mental health professionals.

The store and area around it had to be evacuated after it was learned a pipe bomb and a molotov cocktail had been planted with one device inside the store and another in a vehicle in the parking lot.

Poag will appear in court again August 30.
