Active cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan still rising

There are 81 new cases of COVID-19 being announced by the Saskatchewan government on Monday with the active case count now sitting at 656.  When the province relaxed restrictions on July 11, there were 399 active cases.

The new cases are located in the Far North West (5), Far North Central (6), North West (4), North Central (7), North East (3), Saskatoon (24), Central East (4), Regina (5), South West (3), South Central (2) and South East (13) zones and five (5) new cases have pending residence information.

56 individuals are in hospital including 11 in the ICU.

82 more cases of the Delta variant were confirmed on Saturday by screening.

2,542 vaccines were administered on Saturday including 1,907 who received their second shot and are now fully vaccinated.
