Regina youth facing charges after windows smashed and bear spray administered in Regina’s north central

A 14-year-old girl is facing charges after an alleged assault that involved bear spray being used as a weapon.

Early Thursday morning, Regina police were called to on the 1100 block of Robinson Street where it is alleged the suspect broke windows at a residence before spraying bear spray inside. A vehicle that belonged to the victim also had a smashed window.

None of the occupants of the house needed EMS treatment. Through investigation, the suspect who cannot be named due to her age was located and arrested.

The suspect is charged with two counts of mischief under $5,000 and assault with a weapon. She appeared in court Thursday afternoon.
