Man charged after being in possession of a stolen vehicle

On Sunday, Regina Police observed a vehicle, which had been reported stolen, being parked by a man on the 110 block of Graham Road.

The license plate was confirmed to not match the registered vehicle and was also confirmed to be recently stolen.

The 20-year-old man was located in a residence and arrested without incident.

Twenty-year-old James Dennis Wilcox has been charged with the theft of a motor vehicle, two counts of possession obtained by crime under $5,000, failure to comply with a release order, three counts of driving while prohibited, possession of an automobile master key, and failure to comply with prohibition order.

Wilcox made his first court appearance on Tuesday.
