Regina Police make arrest in Rochdale Boulevard bank robbery

Regina Police have made an arrest in connection to a bank robbery that occurred on the 5800 block of Rochdale Boulevard Tuesday.

Police were called to the scene just before 11:00 AM where a man reportedly walked into the bank with a screwdriver and left the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police were able to make an arrest at the corner of 7th Avenue and McIntyre Street, where the suspect was suffering an unrelated medical issue and was transported to hospital for treatment.

36-year-old Adrian Southwind of Regina faces three charges, including robbery, possession of property obtained by crime, and failure to comply with probation order.

Police are still looking for a woman believed to be involved in the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call police or crime stoppers.
