Recall issued for Frank’s RedHot Buffalo Ranch Seasoning

The makers of Frank’s RedHot are recalling one of their seasonings over concerns it may be contaminated with Salmonella.

McCormick and Company, Inc says the recall affects the 153g bottles of their Buffalo Ranch Seasoning with a best before date of September 6th, 2022.

The affected batch was shipped to B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, and Quebec.

No illnesses have been linked with the outbreak, but McCormick says the potential risk was found by the FDA in routine testing.

Salmonella poisoning can result in a wide range of symptoms, from short-term fever, headache and nausea to more serious issues including severe arthritis and, in rare cases, even death.
