Regina man arrested after robbing a man in city’s core

On Saturday afternoon, just after 3:30 pm, Regina Police responded to a robbery on the 3800 block of Albert Street.

A man had called 911 stating he was punched in the face by a man who tried to steal his bag and keys.

After receiving a description of the suspect, police were able to locate the man and he was taken into custody without incident.

Fortunately, the victim wasn’t seriously injured in the incident.

As a result, 28-year-old Naser Ali has been charged with robbery, and breach of probation.

Ali will make his first court appearance on September 7th.
