It was a performance that Saskatchewan country singer Jess Moskaluke can put on her resume.

Moskaluke sang O Canada before Tuesday’s Major League Baseball all-star game in Denver.

She says singing the national anthem is always special, but there was a little more pressure on her for this performance.

“It was incredible, I’ve done it at a few Toronto Blue Jays games, which was also amazing,” said Moskaluke. “It’s always such an honour no matter who asks you to sing it, but when there’s that many eyeballs on you, and it’s been 16 months since you’ve performed in front of anybody, that’s a lot of pressure.”

Moskaluke has a good working relationship with the Toronto Blue Jays who recommended her to sing O Canada to Major League Baseball a couple of years ago but the timing was never right.
