Two people are in custody facing charges after a robbery and stolen auto investigation.
Early Friday morning, the Regina Police’s K-9 Unit were in the area of Albert Street and 13th Avenue when they spotted a vehicle that was reported stolen during a robbery on July 14th.
Initially, the vehicle was southbound on Albert Street when officers found the vehicle a short time later parked in an alley on the 2300 block of Halifax Street.
As they approached the vehicle, they noticed a man and a woman fleeing from the vehicle. The female suspect was arrested without incident, and the male suspect was arrested a short time later after a foot pursuit.
As a result, a 16-year-old female has been charged with robbery, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
She made her first court appearance on Friday afternoon.
And 18-year-old Navada Sheepskin has been charged with robbery, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and failure to comply with conditions of an undertaking.
Sheepskin made his first court appearance Friday afternoon.
