Regina Chamber urging people to be respectful of businesses’ decisions to require masks as restrictions lift

They have been a part of our lives for months but we no longer are required to wear masks when going out as the public health order has been lifted,

While the order means the mandatory mask policy has come to an end, some businesses are still going to require them.

John Hopkins with the Regina Chamber of Commerce says as is the case in other places, it is their decision and not yours.

“I suspect there is going to be quite a few businesses that are going to continue with the masks, somewhat similar to ‘no shirt, no shoes, no service’, that kind of thought,” said Hopkins.

Hopkins says if asked to wear a mask, wear one and if you don’t want to wear one, then find a place where masks aren’t mandatory and don’t create a scene as some businesses are still wanting to keep their workers and customer base safe.
