Parrish and Heimbecker has made it official and announced a new concrete grain elevator for the Yorkton area.

Two years ago P&H opened a new fertilizer blending and distribution site near Ebenezer – just 10 miles north of Yorkton and more recently began other ground work such as spur line development – that will become a loop track – now part of the standard grain loading/unloading modern elevator.

The company news release says the LOOP will handle 150 cars serving a 25 thousand tonne elevator.

The original P&H plant at Yorkton was one of the first of the concrete terminals in the region, built in Yorkton in the early 1980’s.
