Regina Police make arrest in child porn investigation

A Regina man is facing child pornography charges after a police investigation over the weekend.

On Sunday morning, just after 3:00 AM, Police were dispatched to the city’s north west for a report of pornographic images of a child found on a phone.

The investigation led police to a residence on Gore Place where the alleged owner of the phone was located, and police were able to gather more evidence from the residence before the suspect was taken into custody.

The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) assisted in the investigation.

28-year-old Marty Dick of Regina is charged with possession of child porn and accessing child porn.

He will appear in court in August.
