Just after 1:00 am Saturday morning, Regina Police were called to the 400 block of Retallack Street for a weapons incident.
Police arrived in the area and found a man who had sustained minor injuries. The victim provided a description of the suspect. Police found the suspect at a home nearby, where he was arrested without incident.
36-year-old Thiong Lual, from Brooks, Alberta, has been charged with assault with a weapon, and failure to comply with the conditions of a release order.
Lual will make his first court appearance on August 18th.
