Globe Theatre hosting outdoor festival Saturday

The Globe Theatre will be having performances throughout Regina today while renovations continue at their Prince Edward Building home.

The Art Out Loud Festival taking place in Victoria Park and down by Scarth Street which will feature numerous mini-performances.

Artistic Director Jennifer Brewin says there will be a number of events for people of all ages.

“We’ve got some old-fashioned radio plays that have been pre-recorded and they’re played out loud at what we call listening parties,” said Brewin. “Then we have a bunch of installations around theatre making, different sets, different things that people can interact with.”

The festival is free to attend and goes from 1 to 10 pm, but guests are asked to register online ahead of time.
