Fourth person charged in Garnet Street murder

Another person has been charged in connection to a homicide that took place in North Central Regina one week ago.

Police were called to a hospital for a report of an injured man in the early morning hours of June 18th. The victim, later identified as 52-year-old Robert Fuchs, was pronounced dead in hospital.

Police then went to a residence on the 1300 block of Garnet Street, where they arrested three people. Upon further investigation, a fourth person has been charged in connection to the murder.

22 year-old Travis Grimoldby was arrested Tuesday afternoon near the corner of 8th Avenue and Athol Street. He’s charged with second degree murder and possession of a weapon or ammunition contrary to prohibition order. He appeared in court Wednesday afternoon.

Police are still investigating. Anyone with more information is asked to call RPS or CrimeStoppers.

This is Regina’s sixth homicide of the year.
