Friday afternoon, around 12:00 pm, Lumsden RCMP  were called to the scene of a fatal accident on Highway #734 between Lumsden and Regina.

Police determined that a motorcycle, driven by an 82-year-old man from Regina, left the roadway. The man was pronounced dead on scene. His family  has been notified.

Highway #734 was closed for investigation and a detour was available. The highway is now open.

Lumsden RCMP and an RCMP Collision Reconstructionist continue to investigate.
