SaskPower has a mystery on its hands, and its a frustrating one.

Customers in White City, Emerald Park and the RM of Edenwold have been reporting low power or flickering power and while the problem isn’t widespread through the communities, it is a problem because SaskPower can’t figure out the cause.

“On some customers houses, we have installed voltage readers to get a clearer picture of what is happening.” Saskpower spokesperson Scott McGregor said. “We are also inspecting transmission lines to see if the issue is starting from there along with other things.  This won’t be a quick fix though as the investigation will take about six weeks.”

SaskPower has sent a letter to customers explaining what is happening and what they are doing.
