After various tool thefts in the town of Assiniboia, RCMP are asking residents to be vigilant.

Police say tools have been stolen from an outbuilding on a residential property, vehicles, and a commercial property.

Officers are reminding people to maintain serial number records of tools and to ensure they are stored in a secure and locked location, as well as keeping initials permanently marked on equipment.

Anyone who notices suspicious activity is asked to call RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
