Farm robotic equipment moves another step forward

Raven Industries has announced Ontario-based Haggerty AgRobotics has purchased a second Omnipower platform.

Haggerty Creek is an established company delivering grain and crop input leads for farmers in Ontario.

Last year, Haggerty bought its first Omnipower and this year purchased Omnidrive to help farmers with operational challenges.

The growing demand for driverless agriculture technology as a solution to labor shortages pushed Haggerty to form Agrobotics.

Now, Haggerty is one of the first customers to implement a fleet of autonomous farm machines.

Raven Industries purchased the robotic farm equipment from Emerald Park based Dot industries, owned by the Beaujot family, which also has the Seedmaster line of farm equipment.
