First-dose clinics opening up in Regina Monday and Tuesday

The provincial government is running three one-day clinics for residents to get their first doses of COVID vaccines Monday and Tuesday in Regina.

The drive-thru clinic at Evraz Place will be available from 4:00 until 7:30 PM Monday, while another walk-in clinic at Evraz Place will also take place at the same time.

Martin Collegiate will be hosting a first-dose clinic Tuesday from 1:00 until 7:30 PM.

According to yesterday’s numbers, 69 percent of the eligible population over 18 years of age have received at least one dose of vaccine, while 67 percent of the eligible population 12 years and older have also received at least one dose.

If 70 percent of both populations receive at least one dose, most COVID restrictions could be lifted by July 11.
