Police arrest three people involved in early May robbery

A Regina Police investigation into a robbery on May 4, 2021 has resulted in the arrests of three individuals.

Thirty-five-year-old Nicole Bircher and 22-year-old Lonnie Littletent of Regina, who were arrested on May 30, face charges of robbery. Littletent also has been charged with failure to comply. The third person, 35-year-old Brett Maxie, was taken into custody on June 10. Maxie was charged with robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of an indictable offence and breach of probation.

The incident involved an individual being robbed at gun-point on the 1600 block of Victoria Avenue. The victim was allegedly approached by a person on the street, along with a vehicle occupied by multiple people.

Police say one of the persons inside the vehicle pointed a firearm at the victim and demanded their belongings. The victim was not physically injured.

Bircher and Littletent made their first appearances in court on May 31. Maxie was in court on Friday morning.
