Traffic on the Highway #10 overpass near Balgonie has been restored after a semi truck flipped over Thursday morning.

The Balgonie Fire department has confirmed with the 620 CKRM news room that the overpass closed for a brief time as crews cleared the wreckage. White Butte RCMP received a complaint before 11:00 a.m. Thursday that a semi truck and trailer had tipped over due to high winds.

RCMP say shortly after this incident, a westbound truck and camper trailer also tipped over at the same spot, blocking the westbound lane of Highway #10 onto Highway #1.

Traffic on Highway #10 was diverted to Highway #364 two miles ahead of the overpass to head south towards the Trans-Canada Highway while work was done to clear the roadway.

No injuries were reported to police in either incident. All roads are now re-opened.
