Police searching for suspect after home invasion in Regina’s southeast

A recent home invasion and robbery in the southeast corner of Regina has police looking for suspects and more information.

On Saturday night, just before midnight, police were called to the 3300 block of Green Poppy Drive where there was a reported robbery on the ground level of a multi-unit building.

The woman residing in the unit was allegedly approached by the suspect, who demanded cash and personal items. The suspect then fled the scene, and police were unable to locate the suspect in the area.

The suspect is described as a Black man with a thin build, roughly 19 or 20 years of age, wearing a white Nike hoodie with dark-coloured jeans and white shoes.

Anyone with more information on this incident is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
